Patrick Hechenblaikner: apprentice of the month and model from Matrei

In the country house in Innsbruck, the title "Apprentice of October 2024" was awarded recently. Patrick Hechenblaikner from Matrei am Brenner was selected as financial and accounting assistant for his outstanding performance in teaching. The award was presented by the Labor and Youth Councilor Astrid Mair, who congratulated him for his commitment to vocational training and volunteering.

Patrick is not only active in the professional area, but is also involved in his free time. In the music band of his hometown and as a group leader of the Catholic young crowd, he brings his skills and motivates children on various projects. Mair pays particular attention to dual training, which is estimated beyond the borders of Tyrol, and thus underlines the importance of vocational training for young people. "With the award, we offer excellent apprentices to show their skills," said Mair.

Patrick has completed the first specialist class at the Tyrolean specialist school for trade and office with excellent results. His employer particularly praises his punctuality and collegiality. The decision on the award makes a jury that consists of representatives of the state of Tyrol, the Chamber of Commerce, the Chamber of Labor and the vocational schools. The "apprentice of the year" will be voted in a festive gala next year from the respective "apprentices of the month".
