The accident occurred in the Schönberg toll point, in the Innsbruck-Land district. Before the driver reached the toll system, he grazed several guidelines and traffic signs over a distance of about 800 meters. A standing car was also damaged in the maneuver, but luckily the driver got away.

Five toll traces had to be blocked due to the accident. Although the mounting is estimated to continue until late in the morning, it remained largely calm on the A13. Larger traffic jams could be prevented despite the blocking of the toll traces.

According to the official, the truck driver was alcoholic in the incident and was not concentrated. This could have been the cause of the collision with the traffic signs and the bollard. However, the exact circumstances will continue to be examined in order to better understand the background of the accident.

Current reports show that everyone involved reacted in good time and that the rescue workers were quickly on site. For more information on this case, readers can take a look at this article on www.salzburg24.at throw.
