In Maria Lankowitz, a change at the head of the technical school for agriculture and nutritional economy took place. After two decades as a director, Margit Langmann is retiring well -deserved. On September 1st, Simone Weber took over the management of the educational institution and brings comprehensive experience from her so far at the school.
Simone Weber is not a new face at the university of applied sciences. She took her first professional steps there in 2008 and developed a deep connection to school. After a few years as a specialist in the HLW - Lipizzanerheimat, she was able to gain valuable insights and skills that she now wants to use in her new role. She is looking forward to continuing the tradition of Margit Langmann and further developing the training offer.
Weber’s vision for the technical school
The new director has clear ideas for the future of the technical school. Your goal is to offer practical and professional training in which the students are actively involved in their learning process. "I am glad that Margit Langmann has done an excellent job in recent years and now I'm looking forward to entering her footsteps," said Weber.
An important part of the training at the technical school is the opportunity for the students to take the Matura. This examination is organized by an external institute, the Benko office and data processing school, while the school provides the corresponding premises.
At the recent autumn festival, Margit Langmann was ceremoniously adopted by the community. Countless students and alumni showed their appreciation for their many years of work. Simone Weber was officially introduced as the successor and is to celebrate a big anniversary with the school community on October 4, 2025 to honor the hundred -year birthday of the technical school.
