Together for education: help children in Tanzania!
The “Schools for Africa” project has been committed to the formation of children in Tanzania since 2003. Gabriele and Hans Martin Rastl, who continue the inheritance of the late founder Herbert Hütter, invite the population to help. The focus is on the support of children who enable school attendance through scholarships.
The new school year starts in January in Tanzania, and 56 children currently benefit from these scholarships that range from kindergarten to university. The two board members report that some of the students have already successfully completed their studies, but the increasing costs are becoming a challenge for the association. "The fees increase with the level of education, which severely limits our financial scope," said Rastl.

The costs for school education vary, starting at 300 euros annually for kindergarten and elementary school. For the Rastls, it is crucial that every contribution, no matter how small, contributes to giving the children in Tanzania a better future. The collected funds not only finance school visits, but also boarding school stays and vocational training. For many Tanzanian families, these expenses represent a considerable financial burden.
An impressive example of the success of the project is Yustina Simon, who completed a medical studies through the initiative and successfully completed. This underlines how important support for the children is.
