In a tragic incident in the Galsterberg ski area, there was a fatal skiing accident on Monday afternoon. A 53-year-old Czech holidaymaker was on the move with his wife and son in the area of ​​the slope when he left the secured slopes and drove into the open terrain. After just a few meters, he lost control of his skis and crashed into a snow hill. His skis loosened and the man overturned, as Orf Styria reported.

The two female tourists who were witnesses immediately helped first aid and alerted the rescue workers. These immediately moved out with a helicopter. Despite intensive medical efforts by the emergency doctor, the 53-year-old could only be found dead at the scene of the accident. According to
