HTBla Kaindorf: Federal Minister Polaschek opens new learning rooms

The HTBla Kaindorf an der Sulm recently experienced a comprehensive modernization that has significantly improved not only the premises, but also the learning conditions of the pupils. In a construction period of 16 months, the school was expanded by 600 square meters. These successful renovation work also attracted the interest of Federal Minister Martin Polaschek, who took the time to visit the new facilities on Tuesday afternoon.

While the government negotiations in Vienna were in full swing, the minister was visibly excited to experience the progress himself. At a reception, Polaschek was warmly welcomed by the director of the HTBLA, Maria Graßmugg. Then a film was shown that presented the different construction phases and their scope. The minister then received a tour of the school's modernized rooms.

The redesign includes the expansion of the already existing three classes by a total of five new classrooms. These were supplemented by open learning zones, which were set up at the beginning and end of each class wing. In addition, the sanitary wing in these areas was adapted to meet the needs of the learners. On the upper floor there are also modernized break rooms, which are supplemented by a covered outdoor area on the roofs of the class sections.
