The Nova Rock Festival, one of the greatest music events in Austria, will take place in the Pannonia Fields from June 11th to 14th, 2025. The ÖAMTC warns that rescue and care routes have to be kept free and expects hundreds of missions during the festival, especially before the visitors' drive home. The most common breakdowns include lost car keys and empty batteries, but the ÖAMTC also offers support with other problems, such as defective devices or disorientation in large parking spaces.

In order to meet the requirements of such a large event, the Nova Rock Festival has developed an optimized security concept. Among other things, this includes 550 folders, 120 paramedics and 200 firefighters who are supposed to ensure the safety of the visitors. The focus here is on cooperation and coordination in the deployment rod. Increased traffic volume is to be expected on arrival and departure days, which is why 650 additional traffic signs are set up.

An important aspect of the security strategy is the introduction of a "cashless" system in which visitors can use a card for cashless payment. This card can be personalized and charged with credit in advance. The police recommend not to carry cash and carry it on the body to avoid thefts. In addition, it is warned of the risk of knockout drops, which is why visitors should not leave their drinks unobserved.
