Free green cutting in Graz: How to dispose of your cut!
in Graz, things go back to the matter for all garden lovers! The annual green cutting campaign of the Holding Graz has started. From now on, everyone who maintains a garden in the city can hand over their cut off branches, shrubs and hedges free of charge. It is the perfect opportunity to create order for the plants after the autumn hairdresser.
from Monday, October 7, 2024, until Saturday, November 9, 2024, there is the possibility to emit green sections in customary quantities. This is particularly advantageous for all garden owners who often do not know where they should go with the cuts. The campaign offers an environmentally friendly solution and supports the recycling of biomass in the region.
where and when can you give up?
The delivery times are from Monday to Saturday, from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. and from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The delivery locations are:

Please note that the delivery is not possible on Sundays and public holidays.
For the delivery at the Graz resource park in the residual fabric zone (Sturzgasse 5) there are special regulations:
- for registered users: A QR code must be scanned when entering. This is rebooked by the employees when submitting the green cut to the free action, there is no offset or debit.
- without registration: user select the "No" option on the input display and take a note with the QR code. Here, too, the code is rebooked in the green cutting.
With this campaign, the city of Graz shows how important sustainable action is and supports citizens in the care of their gardens. This means that there is no longer any green cutting that remains in your own garden or is thrown into the garbage can. The environment benefits and the city can use organic waste for further recovery.
