investigation results and legal consequences

The accused, who regularly offered items several times to different buyers, received a total of over 9,000 euros through these fraud acts. He stated that he was in a lack of money and promised to gradually repay the amounts to the victims. Nevertheless, he is reported to the Graz public prosecutor for commercial fraud. The procedure includes different steps: After the advertisement, the police check whether there is enough indications for a crime and, if necessary, initiate an investigation, as explained on menzundpartner.de.

The investigation contains evidence, interrogations and, if necessary, search for clarifying the allegations. If the public prosecutor has sufficient evidence, it decides on the indictment. In severe cases, authorities strive for quick procedures, while the rights of all parties involved must be observed. So it remains to be seen how this case will develop and which punishments the man ultimately expected.
