In February 2024, the police began investigating after a woman from Vienna had filed a complaint about fraud. She had ordered and paid for an expensive Philharmonic gold coin, but never received it. The seller, a 34-year-old man from the Weiz district, was comprehensively confessed with the allegations after initial hesitation.
