Expansion of the Hitzendorf community office: space for future
in Hitzendorf, a municipality in Styria, an extended market town office was recently inaugurated, which reacts to the increasing requirements and the increasing space requirements of the administration. The opening was celebrated by Mayor Thomas Gschier and various political representatives, including P. Thomas Friedmann from the Pin Abbey and State Councilor Simone Schmiedtbauer.
The background for the expansion is simple: the new areas on the upper floor of the office building offered the opportunity to expand the existing premises. The newly designed multifunctional wedding and event hall is a central element of improvement. It now offers space for up to 100 people and is both accessible via a lift and a staircase. In addition, the latest event technology was integrated and a reception and buffet area was created.
additional offices to support the team
Another important aspect of the expansion is to create new office space. In the course of the growth of the municipal administration, ten new office workstations and three meeting rooms were set up. The necessary infrastructure, such as toilet and tea kitchens, was also also created. The plans come from the local architecture firm Artivo Architecture and the construction work was mainly carried out by regional companies.
A total of around 2.7 million euros were invested for the project. The cost of Hitzendorf and the state of Styria share the costs of 50 percent each. Mayor Gschier sees the innovation as a significant step towards a more attractive and efficient service provider for the citizens.
As part of the opening ceremony, the citizens had the opportunity to visit the new premises and take part in a varied entertainment program. "With the extended municipal office, we have progressed another step in order to better meet the requirements of our population," emphasized Gschier optimistically in his words on the future of the community.More information about the opening and the future plans of the community are on www.meinbezirk.at read.
