On the evening of December 13, 2024, the traditional Christmas tree diving of the diving squadron of the BFV Voitsberg took place in Voitsberg's picturesque. This special event was carried out as a floodlight event in cooperation with the municipality of Köflach and attracted numerous guests of honor, including ABI d. F. Ewald Schober, who was able to welcome the "See La Vie" sea hotel. A musical performance of the Stallhofen market music created the festive atmosphere, while the brave dive took place in winter temperatures.
honor for the diving relay
Abi d. F. Schober expressed his gratitude and proudly reported that the diving relay currently consists of eight active divers, including two teachers. Comrade Patrick Suntinger, who successfully completed this demanding exam, has been particularly noteworthy. Words of thanks also went to the Kolleger family from Stallhofen, who has been making a Christmas tree available for this special event for almost four decades. Mayor Mag. Linhart paid tribute to the commitment and courage of the divers and wished them a Merry Christmas.
After a short prayer of city pastor Mag. Trummler, who blessed the Christmas tree, it was driven with a jet boat from the FF Stallhofen over the Pibersteinersee and then sunk into the water by eight divers of the diving grades Voitsberg, Graz environment and Deutschlandsberg. The event was therefore not only a festive act, but also to a sign of the community and the commitment, as reported by the side of the Voitsberg area.
