Autumn talks in Wies: Citizens' concerns and future projects in focus

A few days ago, the autumn talks took place in the market town, invited by Mayor Josef Waltl. These discussions were organized in all four districts and offer citizens the opportunity to exchange ideas directly with the community tour.

At these events, the focus was on reporting on already implemented and current projects. The mayor also gave a view of future projects for the coming year. It was a great opportunity to ask questions and find out about topics that affect the municipal administration.

A central topic was the new Sulmtal-Koralm resource park, which was opened at the end of October. The progress in broadband expansion and planned road renovations was also discussed here. One concern of citizens is traffic safety on the B76, as well as the formation and activity of the newly founded energy community "EEG Wiestrom". These topics were very well received.

Another point that was addressed concerns the parking situation around the sports and tennis court in Wies, a concern that is advised on the specialist committee "Infrastructure". In addition, the topic of “community Nursing” was discussed, which focuses on the support of older people in the community. This will certainly be treated more intensively in the upcoming specialist committee meetings.

Mayor Waltl emphasized: "The opinion of our citizens is very important to us."
