HAK/HAS Deutschlandsberg: Students conquer Ireland and learn at Krauss

The students of HAK/HAS Deutschlandsberg have seen exciting developments lately. While some completed their internships at the local "Distillery Krauss", others took the opportunity to deepen their language skills in Ireland.

In beautiful Styria, entrepreneurs show how important practical experiences are. Marie K. from the 2AK and Thorsten K. from the 5BK were actively involved in the marketing of "Distillery Krauss" and helped to establish the new product line, together with the grandchildren of Charlie Chaplin, on the market. This “learning by doing” gives young people valuable insights into the world of trade and marketing. Interested parties can see exciting impressions of the new product portfolio on Instagram under the hashtag #kieracaplin.

language trip to Ireland

In the meantime,

students from the 3rd year of the HAK/HAS also traveled to Ireland in October. The program was diverse: In addition to the language lessons, excursions were organized that led the group to Dalkey, Killiney and even to Howth. A Highlight was a visit to the Irish capital Dublin, where city tours, museum visits and an exciting photo challenge were on the plan.

A particularly memorable experience was the "Pub-Singalong Session", which enabled the students to sing traditional Irish songs together with local musicians. Thanks to the host families, the students could not only improve their English skills, but also immerse themselves in the everyday life of Ireland. The trip was not only a great way to improve language skills, but also a valuable cultural experience.

These initiatives show how important it is that schools offer their students such practical and interactive learning opportunities. While the interns take the first steps in the professional world at "Distillery Krauss", the students in Ireland collect unforgettable memories and moments of learning that will accompany them all of their lives.
