First network meeting of the BHAK/BHAS: Former combined in Deutschlandsberg
In the heart of Deutschlandsberg, there was a remarkable meeting in mid -November, which celebrated the connection between former students and their teachers. The graduate association of BHAK/BHAS Deutschlandsberg invited to its first network meeting, which was well attended by both Alumni and current and former teachers. Around 60 participants set off to take part in this inspiring event.
The graduate association was re -founded in February of this year and pursues several objectives. In addition to supporting students, there is a special focus on promoting sociable cooperation and building a network. This network work was now celebrated for the first time with an official event on the premises of BHAK/BHAS Deutschlandsberg, where the former directors Peter Sever and Eduard Langmann were also present.
insights into everyday school life and career paths
With an inspiring entry of chairman Patrick Schluer, who reported on the club's successes so far, the starting signal for the evening was given. Immediately afterwards, director Elke Herler gave an overview of everyday school life, including successes and awards that the school has achieved over the years. It became particularly exciting when four graduates shared their personal career paths according to the Matura. The singer Veronika Plank-Bachsels, also known as Eva Plankton, the senior physician Horst Pobernel, the vocational school teacher Kurt Sever and the financial advisor Patrik Kameritsch remembered her school days and gave the prospective Maturant's useful tips.
After the informative presentations, there was enough time to network and to exchange among the participants. In rolls and drinks, there was the opportunity to revive the memories of the school days and to make new contacts.
"Several thousand graduates have made the Matura on Bhak/Bhas Deutschlandsberg in the 46 years of school history. We want to use this wealth of experience in the graduate association and bring successful people from a wide variety of industries. Our first network meeting has shown: It depends on the people. It was a successful evening with many interesting conversations that will certainly be found." /> Patrick Schlauer , chairman
Patrick Schluer encouraged all former students to join the network and expand the community. Interested parties can contact Patrick.schlauer@bhak-dl.ac.at to become part of this emerging initiative.
