The owner of the foal, Chris, was initially skeptical, but ultimately agreed to sell Hope Rising for a special price after having witnessed the strong bond between the two. The four-day journey for Hope was a logistical challenge, began with a special horse transport flight and finally ended in Turnau.

Mary takes care of her every day, makes her grooming and slowly gets used to people and cars.
