A comprehensive investigation by the financial police and police authorities has led to a remarkable case of social fraud at a transport company in Tyrol. This initiative was triggered by an anonymous advertisement that suspected that drivers of the company used several driver cards to avoid statutory steering and rest periods. As a result, the travel writers of 33 trucks were checked, with a variety of irregularities to light.
