Solemn honors: St. Andrä appreciates round birthday jubilee

On October 4, 2024, a special celebration was organized at the Andlwirt inn in St. Andrä im Lungau to honor several citizens for their round birthdays. Mayor Heinrich Perner, Vice Mayor Wilhelm Moser and head of office Gerald Lerchner held a moving speech and personally congratulated the jubilees. The atmosphere was warm and solemn, and lunch together offered the perfect setting to look back on the numerous years of life of the honored.

The honored included some remarkable personalities of the community. Matthias Sagmeister from St. Andrä celebrated his 80th birthday, while the two Lintschingen women Maria Beagersperger and Zäzilia Moser also celebrated their 90th honor day. Josef Lerchner, also from St. Andrä, was also able to toast to 80 years, and Heinz Gerold from Haslach, who was also 80, received his congratulations.
