Discover Peru: Lecture via an adventure trip to Tamsweg!
In an impressive adventure, Johannes Gappmayer and Julia Richter traveled through Peru for five weeks. The two discoverers want to share their experiences with others and invite you to a lecture in the Tamsweg middle school on November 14th. The title of the lecture is "Peru, a country that finds you!" And part of the income is used for a charitable purpose.
The hiking lust of the two leads them from Lima, the second largest desert city in the world, on a trekking tour through the impressive landscapes Peru. "You can feel the ancient culture of the Inca everywhere. They lived in harmony with nature and paid attention to the mountains in their area," explains Gappmayer. This spiritual connection to the "Mother Earth" was already felt to her when you get out of the plane.
adventure in the altitudes
On their trip, they never stayed below 4000 meters above sea level, which definitely made their expedition a challenging. In the high mountains, they even climbed the Chachhani, an impressive six -thousand with a height of 6057 meters. Your equipment was only made of a backpack, a tent and food, which made self -sufficiency particularly exciting.
"" We explored everything on our own and struggled through even without knowledge of Spanish. Open mindset and the willingness to let themselves be driven, we were often helpful, "said the 37-year-old about her experience. They not only experienced the majestic heights, but also flew over the desert with the paraglimer - another highlight of their trip.
Gappmayer and Richter are convinced: "It was not an initial ascent. Everyone can work out such an adventure themselves, it only takes the courage to venture into something new." You would like to present your experiences and findings in your lecture on November 14th at 7.30 p.m. in Tamsweg. The proceeds of this event also support a good cause.
For more information and for buying tickets, it is advisable to participate in the lecture. There, visitors can not only hear exciting stories, but also learn more about the cultural aspects of Peru.
