The Mayor of Salzburg, Bernhard Auinger (SPÖ), explained that this measure aims to support regional retail in the run -up to Christmas. Johannes Gfrerer, Managing Director of the Salzburg Transport Association, confirmed that the city will invest around 100,000 euros for this campaign.
