"The intestine was perforated five times. At first we did not notice that. This was only shown by inflammation and an examination at the veterinarian. Suddenly she couldn't go," said the worried cat owner.
After the terrible attack, "Elli" had to be operated on, with 30 centimeters of their intestine being removed. Despite intensive treatment for over two days, the four -year -old cat could not be saved and had to be put to sleep towards the end of October. "She was a family member and we tried everything," regrets the owner.

The owner is particularly concerned because a neighboring cat was shot in the nearby village of Willischwand about a year ago. Thanks to a quick operation, this survived after noticeable due to lameness. "It cannot be that someone shoots on an animal. They are living things. It is very strange that this happens twice on the same street," says the animal lover.

A press spokeswoman confirmed that information from the neighborhood was very welcome. "Ellis" owner appeals to the residents of staying attentive and contacting the police in the event of suspicious observations. She fears that not only "Elli" was affected.
