Christmas magic in Spittal: Opening of the festive Christmas village
The ceremonial opening of the Spittal Christmas village took place on Thursday evening, an event that shone not only through contemplative music, but also through festive decoration and numerous visitors. Mayor Gerhard Köfer was present to sound this special event. The musical accompaniment took over the singer Buzzi, who heralded the Advent season with his sounds and delighted the audience. Many of those present took the opportunity to look around for their loved ones with a glass of berry punch and a portion of Frigga.
The Christmas village is open until December 24, so that interested parties have the opportunity to try glowing drinks and regional specialties. A selection of craftsmanship is also available, so that visitors can go home with unique souvenirs and gifts for gnome. On the weekends, the atmosphere is also revived by live music from various genres, including by the Jazz band Birdland and the EC Gospel Choir Seeboden.
diverse activities and attractions
The Christmas village has something to offer for all ages. The highlights include the sky workshop, which is open on Wednesdays to Sundays, and the "winter story treasure", which is presented on December 10 by Martina Kasmanhuber. A classic nativity play will be performed on December 19, and on December 22nd Anna and Elsa from the popular film "Frozen" will be guests. Popular activities such as the handicrafts of gingerbread houses and the use of the carousel also provide a lot of joy among visitors.
This festive opening and the large number of events are expected to attract both locals and tourists and contribute to the festive atmosphere in the region.
