Election sensation in the Flachgau: Firefighters confirmed with 100 %!

On February 20, 2025, the election of the district fire brigade commander for Flachgau was held in the Gardena fire station. Under the leadership of the Salzburg district district, the incumbent district fire brigade commander OBR Klaus Lugstein started election alone and received impressive 100 % of the votes from the local and section fire brigade commanders. This re -election is a clear sign of trust that the fire brigade community in the district brings him. In his acceptance speech, Lugstein said: "The past few years were characterized by challenges, but also by many successes that we only achieved through the excellent cooperation of all fire brigades in the district" (Fireworld.at).

At the same time as Lugstein's election, the selection of the section fire brigade commander for Section 4 Flachgau also took place. Br Ing. Karl Schnöll-Reichl was also the only candidate and also reached 100 % of the votes.
