On November 12, the tree was felled by the Salzburg professional fire brigade and safely transported to Salzburg.The solemn handover took place on Tuesday in the presence of guests from the Katschtal. Among these was the mayor of the Katschtal, Franz Aschbacher, and the Olympic champion Fritz Strobl, who joined the group. The Katschtaler Trachtenkapelle took over the musical accompaniment, while the "Alphornmusi from the Katschtal" gave traditional pieces.
