Politics in Austria: Voters give pupils for the parties!
The latest surveys shows a dark picture of Austrian politics. According to a survey of the IFDD on behalf of Puls24, the citizens rate the political situation in Austria with an average grade of 4.4 - this is a pitiful "sufficient". It is alarming that over 58 percent of the 1250 respondents even evaluated politics with "not sufficient". The support for the Freedom Party (FPÖ) is growing rapidly: It could increase to 33 percent in new elections, while the ÖVP under Christian Stocker would slip to 19 percent, as the Krone reports.
