In the early morning hours of June 4, 2025, there was a spectacular traffic accident on Großglocknerstraße in the municipal area of ​​Iselsberg. A 51-year-old man was traveling from Winklern towards Irschen at around 01.15 a.m. when his vehicle got beyond the right side of the road. The car overturned and finally landed on the roof in an adjacent meadow. Fortunately, the driver was able to free himself from the vehicle and remained unharmed.

An uninvolved road user immediately started the rescue chain. The alarmed emergency services were quickly on site to provide help. Two police patrols from Lienz and Winklern were involved in the operation, as well as several fire departments. The following forces were used:
