Peter Jagsch impressively elected district leader in Hernals!
On May 28, 2025, the new district council was engaged in the premises of the district head, carried out by City Councilor Peter Hacker. In this context, Peter Jagsch was confirmed with only two votes against as district leaders. Jagsch was pleased with the re -election and confirmed his commitment to the Hernals district. The agenda also provided for the choice of the 1st deputy; Elisabeth Mössmer-Cattalini was chosen with a large majority. Christian Heiling followed as another deputy.
The SPÖ Hernals is now represented with 14 district council: inside the district council, with Victoria Ihl and Gabriele Semmler being added. Special thanks went to the departing mandatar Birgit Gasser, Melanie Eidler and Alice Seidl. Wolfgang Markytan was once again unanimously confirmed at the constituent meeting in early May as the club chairman of the SPÖ Hernals, with Raphaela Stock and Daniel Novotny being elected as deputies: inside. Peter Jagsch, born on December 11, 1970 in Amstetten, has lived in Vienna since he was the first year. The 54-year-old is the father of two sons and, as a trained plant fitter, has a versatile professional career, which led him to the union, among other things. In 2000 he became SPÖ district secretary in Hernals, 2001 district council and from 2004 to 2015 club chairman. In 2015 he appeared as the deputy of Ilse Pfeffer, who held the office of district manager for 20 years before Jagsch succeeded in 2022
