Future of childcare: Hohenzell builds the first crawling room!
Linz, Österreich - In Linz, the first session of the series "Students: Inside in Parliament" of the state student council of Upper Austria took place. Around 100 young people from the region, including students from Ried, were able to experience the democratic processes up close here. Leonard Heise, student at the BRG/BG Ried, was enthusiastic: "It was always worth the journey to Linz." The meeting at the Linz University of Applied Sciences dealt with various topics, such as improving tutoring hours and the expansion of the school psychological offer. Another important event was the opening of a new crawling room in Linz, which was specially designed for the care of children with and without disabilities. Thanks to many years of experience, this crawling room, as part of the Diakonie Center Spatstraße, now offers space for eight children. Under the direction of Díana Müller-Bíró, the focus is on the integrative approach: "It is nice to see how children without disabilities support the integration children." Parents like Martina Segatto are happy about the close cooperation with the educators who actively promote their children's progress.
