Hollywood feeling in Wels: Premiere of more than Anton enthusiastic

In the BG/BRG Wels Brucknerstrasse, the audience experienced a touch of Hollywood when the film “More than Anton” celebrated its premiere. The red carpet, which the students and teachers rolled out for this special occasion, set the right ambience for the event, in which the audience was visibly enthusiastic.

On the occasion of Anton Bruckner's 200th birthday, the Wels School and the Anton-Bruckner-Gymnasium Straubing produced this film. Selected episodes from the life of the famous composer are presented in “more than Anton”. The guests of honor, including Doris Staudinger and Member of the National Councilor Paul Hammerl, were impressed by the professionalism that the students and teachers of the two schools showed both in acting performances as well as in dance and music performances.

The highlight of the event was the honor of Anton Alfred Achleítner, the producer and director of the film. With the words "And the Bruckner Award is concerned: Anton Alfred Achleítner", the retired religious and media customer teacher received a golden camera in recognition of his excellent work.

After the premiere, many of the guests take the opportunity to make contacts in a cozy round at the cold buffet and exchange their impressions. The successful production and the associated celebration showed how creative projects in schools can contribute not only to education, but also to community and cultural exchange.
