Together strong: Charity children's concert inspires Wels and helps in need

A colorful Sunday full of music and joy took place on September 29, 2024 in the old slaughterhouse in Wels. On this special day, the three clubs, the Ladies Circle Wels, the Lions Club Wels Leonessa and the Satao Association, a charity children with the motto "Dwarf Zatsch and Hexe Ratsch" organized. The aim of this event was to collect money for social projects and at the same time prepare an entertaining day for the children.

The program was rich in activities. With a lot of vocals and energy, topics such as brushing your teeth and pajamapartys were played. The children - and also the adults - obviously enjoyed dancing and participating. Free muffins and drinks took care of the physical well -being, and also a sales sale and a raffle with attractive prices were part of the event.

The proceeds of the concert was around 5,000 euros, which are now used for important social issues. Part of 2,000 euros will go to the Integrative School Center Wels (ISZ) to set up a kindergarten room for children who are seriously impaired. In addition, 500 euros flow to elementary school 11 to purchase a handcart so that all children can take part in the event of excursions. The rest of the proceeds are mainly used to support socially disadvantaged children and women in the Wels area.

The positive response of the event shows itself in the bright eyes of the children and the happy faces of the visitors. It is gratifying to see how the community mobilizes to help people in need.
