In the Traunviertel, outstanding initiatives in the field of environment and sustainability were honored. The winners of the Upper Austria became in a solemn ceremony in the Kitzmantel factory in Vorchdorf. State award for the environment and sustainability. A total of over 200 projects were submitted that work in four fields of action: initiating, mobilizing, cooperation and transforming. A jury from different areas, including science and culture, selected the winners in a project -specific manner, taking into account a comprehensive assessment catalog. Each excellent project not only received a certificate, but also the right to name "the sponsor of the Upper Austria State Prize for the Environment and Sustainability 2024".
