New seating and wheelbarrows installed at the cemetery Propstei
Visitors to the Propstei cemetery in Zwettl can look forward to new amenities. A new bank was installed there, which was placed between the graves. This measure not only has the advantage of comfortable seating, but also helps to stabilize the sloping area and make it more pleasant for visitors. In addition, two wheelbarrows are now available that facilitate the transport of watering water, Graberde and gravel between the parking lot and the graves.
"I find it important to offer a way to linger and commemorate," said City Councilor LAbg. Mag. Silvia Moser, MSC, during the presentation of the new equipment. Your initiative shows a focus on the needs of the mourners and visitors to the cemetery. These new facilities should not only improve clarity, but also create a room to pause and think.
Positive developments for all municipalities
The idea behind these measures is by no means new. Similar wheelbarrows have already been introduced in the Rieggers cemetery and at the cemetery. City councilor Moser plans to install these practical aids on all community chores by 2025. This expansion will improve the accessibility of the cemeteries and make it easier to commemorate the deceased.
