In the tranquil region around Pfaffenhofen, the Christmas season really starts again. Numerous Christmas markets and pre -Christmas festivals will fill the coming weeks with a festive atmosphere. The first market is opened directly in the district town, where it says until December 23: "Wichtelzeit and Christmas magic". The charming winter culture path with 30 artistic stations can even be discovered until January 6th.

The Christkindlmarkt in Pfaffenhofen not only offers traditional stands, but also a varied supporting program. This includes a popular angel game, a figure skill and Christmas jazz music. Torch city tours and carriage rides ensure further pleasure. A special highlight will be the planned music fireworks and the final concert, which is an unforgettable experience for many visitors. On Friday, November 29, from 3 p.m., the Advent market in Ilmmünster will also start around the town hall. Just a day later, on Saturday, November 30th, other places such as Gerolsbach, Steinkirchen, Schweitenkirchen and Hohenwart also offer festive markets. These markets not only have brightly decorated stands to offer, but also invite all visitors to enjoy the pre -Christmas atmosphere with delicious dishes and drinks.

The monastery inner courtyard in Scheyern will become the setting for a Christkindlmarkt on November 30th and December 1st. Here visitors can linger in the festive atmosphere, while in the nearby upper voice of the "Amicio" Christkindlmarkt on the Barthelmarkt site invites people to stroll and feast. These are just a few examples of how the Pfaffenhofen region celebrates the Advent season with its markets.

A special experience is also waiting on the first weekend in Advent in Jetzendorf, where on December 7th and 8th the forest Christkindlmarkt attracts visitors with a lovingly designed program.
