Rohrbach's young talents shine with golden achievement badges
In the Rohrbach district, two talented musicians were awarded for their extraordinary achievements in the field of string instruments. Eva Pürmayer from St. Stefan-Afiesl and Doris Wiesinger from Rohrbach-Berg are among the 12 award winners who were honored with the golden achievement badge 2024 of the Upper Austrian State Music School. This award took place as part of a festive ceremony and paid tribute to the outstanding skills of the young musicians.
At the event, not only the outstanding talents were recognized, but also the important contributions from the teachers were recognized. Gertraud Scheiblberger, President of the Upper Austria String Association, emphasized how this badge makes the excellent work of the educators visible. In addition to a certificate, the honored pupils received a gold infection that symbolizes their success.
tradition of honors
Ida Leidl, chairwoman of the Upper Austria string association and herself a teacher at a state music school, emphasized that it was a wonderful tradition to give the students the opportunity to step into the spotlight. These awards are intended to motivate the young talents to continue working on themselves and to further develop their musical skills.
The Upper Austria string association has been committed to the concerns of string and plucked instruments for 30 years. In doing so, she works closely with other institutions such as the Upper Austria Blasmusikverband and the Upper Austria Choir Association to promote musical youth. Today's award shows not only the individual achievements of the excellent students, but also the strength of the community and the value of musical training in the region.
