On Tuesday, a devastating fire broke out in a herbal drying system in Sarleinsbach, in the Rohrbach district. The fire brigade was alerted and twelve fire brigades immediately moved out to fight the fire. When they arrived, the hall was already in full fire, which made the extinguishing work difficult.

"The situation was critical," reported Thomas Stockinger, the district fire brigade commander. "The neighboring house already had smoke from the roof structure, and we had to do everything we could to protect the two adjacent single -family houses." Thanks to the quick reaction, the emergency services managed to save the neighboring buildings, although minor damage was created.

The Rohrbach police excluded a criminal external debt with a high probability. These findings are based on a detailed examination by fire investigators from the State Criminal Police Office and experts from the fire prevention center in Upper Austria. These had examined the fire location on Wednesday to determine the exact cause.

The investigators found that the technical equipment of the drying system could get into the hall. This could be the reason for the large -scale fire that destroyed the entire hall. The exact amount of damage is still unknown, but it is assessed as extremely high. In the course of the cleanup, further technical examinations of the system are planned.
