St. Martin: RGI conquered a challenge cup again and celebrates the family championship
st. Martin. The racing community Innviertel (RGI) celebrated an impressive triumph in the 2024 season. After a gripping final, the team not only secured the challenge cup for the second time in a row, but also won three state championship titles. These successes are proof of the hard work and the team spirit that distinguish the RGI.
"The new win of the challenge cup shows us that team spirit and cohesion can be achieved through things that we would never have considered possible," said club chairman Josef Bauer. The challenge cup is awarded to the association, which collects the most points in the ten Stockcar classes throughout the season. The RGI was lucky enough to be represented in every class with a driver, while larger clubs often compete with more than 20 starters.

Among the newly crowned state masters are three outstanding names: Günter Ölschuster from Haag/H., Stefan Lechner from Gurten and Gabriele Bauer from St. Martin. It is particularly noteworthy that Gabriele Bauer and her son Stefan Lechner have won the titles for the first time for the first time.
