Record at the Innviertler Kids Cup 2024: 1,382 young talents at the start!
The Innviertel Kids Cup 2024 was celebrated by the participants and organizers with great joy. The event had an impressive field of participants from a total of 1,382 children, which has almost tripled the number of participants since the first edition in 2022. The MaximArt Kinderlauf was the focus as a particularly popular event at the Ried sports fair and brought together many sports -loving children.Six different runs, including the Mattighhofner Sparkassenlauf and the Rieder Weberzeile Stadtlauf, contributed significantly to the success of this year. The atmosphere was exuberant and the enthusiasm of the young participants was noticeable for everyone present. It was impressive to see how many children started with a lot of ambition and joy, some of them even repeated their successes from the previous year.

The overall winners of the Innviertel Kids-Cup stabilizer. Sina Feichtlbauer, Marie Parzermaier and Tim Kehrer, all from the Su Igla Long Life, won five out of six runs and thus again became overall winners in their age groups. Timo Andexlinger also followed five wins in his age group and showed that the level in this competition is continuously high. Particularly noteworthy is the large width of participants, which underlines that the Kids Cup is not just about winning, but about the joy of sport.

The Innviertel Kids-Cup quickly established itself as an important event in regional running. Initiator Helmut Slezak was enthusiastic about after the event: "It is an incredible joy to see the children in the runs and the excellently organized award ceremonies. Every organizer makes a valuable contribution with their efforts." Interested runners can already register for the next season. The first competition of the coming year, the Maximarkt Kinderlauf, will take place on March 29, 2025 at the Ried sports fair.
