The Economics in Perg recently took a decisive step towards a more sustainable future. Over 150 entrepreneurs and stakeholders met at the WKO Perg economic reception to find out about important strategies that focus on energy efficiency and sustainability. Friedrich Mühlener, Managing Director of the IFEA Institute for Energiefahr GmbH, informed those present about the legal framework for the next 15 years with regard to the company energy future. Kurt Leonhartsberger, the regional manager for climate and energy in the Perg district, presented various strategies for energy saving and focused on possible synergies between local energy generation and efficient consumption.

Robert Mairhofer, responsible for energy and sustainability at WKO Oberösterreich, gave current insights into funding opportunities for companies and presented numerous service offers that can help companies save costs and to operate more sustainably.
