Sporty offspring in Tragwein: Breakers promote talents early
Tragwein. The SC Tragwein/Kamig focuses on promoting its youngsters. Even the little ones can gain first sporting experience in the popular “fighter” play group. This happens weekly on Mondays at 5 p.m. in the gymnasium, playfully guided by coach Stefan Wurm, who also looks after the fighting team.
The club is active in various sports, including football, tennis, table tennis, stock sports, cycling and skiing. A lot is offered in particular on the soccer field: children and adolescents from the Bambinis to the U15 are prepared for later switching to the combat team. This is currently playing in the 1st grade North-East, and an additional weekly training for former players and hobby kickers takes place on Wednesdays at the sports field.
active sections promote sport
The table tennis players of SC Tragwein/Kamig are particularly successful. They train regularly twice a week and were able to achieve first place in the team classification at the ASVÖ federal championships. The stick shooters can also look forward to success, thanks to the Norbert-Eder-Halle they are active in both summer and winter and will compete with two teams in the Upper League in the coming season.
The cyclists also regularly group for tours together. With a well-marked mountain bike course in Tragwein, there are optimal conditions for cyclists who meet twice a week. In the Ski section, ski gymnastics will start soon after summer to build up the condition for the winter season. The first competitions, such as the Waldaistcup, are already planned for January.
All in all, the SC Tragwein/Kamig is passionate about the youth work in different sports. These efforts not only promote sport, but also the community and team spirit among the young athletes. Further information on the activities and training times can be found on the website of the association.
