HLW Perg: Maturants set signs of solidarity through aid project
The students of the HLW Perg impressively show how school projects can be important not only for personal development, but also for community. Lena Obermayr, Lara Schönauer and Hanna Tröbinger, who put their Matura this year, launched an aid project as part of their diploma thesis that supports the Red Cross market in Perg. The title of her work is "how and why help helpers" and thus already shows that the topic of social responsibility is of great importance for young women.
In a five -day fundraiser, the three committed students collected durable food and hygiene articles from their classmates, classmates and teachers. The Rotkreuz market in Perg provides these donated goods with low-income and people at risk of poverty, and at a symbolic price. The great willingness to support the expectations and the donations collected could already be handed over to the employees of the Rotkreuz market. In view of increasing living costs, the need for such help offers is greater than ever.
a direct contribution to the community
"We wanted to set an example with this project and actively support the community," explain the students their drive power. They are aware that many people, even in their immediate surroundings, have to live under difficult conditions. With the fundraising campaign, you aim to help these people who rely on the support from outside. "It was important to us to help you do your everyday life better", add and underline the urgency of the topic.
practical help and consciousness formation
Another point that the students emphasize is the connection between theoretical approaches to help and the practical implementation. "By acting actively, we were able to experience up close how our actions can help other people," they emphasize. Their commitment shows how complex social responsibility can be perceived and how important it is to do something concrete instead of just talking about it.
This initiative should also promote awareness of social responsibility within your school. "We would like to show that solidarity and compassion are essential and that everyone can make a big difference through small deeds if many get involved," the three students summarize their goals. The campaign is an example of how young people can make positive changes in their neighborhood and how important it is to keep together to master challenges together.
