Successful appearance: Luftenberger Judonach growth shines with 12 medals

The Judo youngsters from Luftenberg celebrated great success at the OÖ Herbst Kyu tournament in Burgkirchen. In a competition that brought together 178 judoka from 15 clubs in the region, the young athletes were able to bring a total of twelve medals home.

The first places by Katharina Hofbauer in the U12 (weight class over 52 kg) and Leopold Gemeinhardt in the U16 (weight class below 55 kg) were particularly outstanding. These successes show not only the individual talent of the athletes, but also the committed training that preceded the competition.

The Judosection Luftenberg competed with a total of 14 young athletes. "These achievements are proof of the good level and the constant further development of our judoka. For some it was the first tournament start. Everyone gained their best and gained a lot of competition experience," said Herbert Dansachmüller, the trainer and representative of Judo Askö Luftenberg.

In addition to the two gold medals, the Luftenberger judokids fought two silver medals and eight third places. These successes are not only motivating for the athletes, but also promote the community and the team spirit within the club.

With these achievements in the back, we look at the coming tournaments with confidence," the coach continued. This supportive approach is an important part of club life and contributes significantly to the positive development of young athletes.

This introductory course will take place on Monday, November 4th and is an ideal opportunity to get to know the judo sport.
