Chor Perg celebrates music and community with a festival fair for 30 years
With great anticipation, the members of the Perg church choir look at their 30th anniversary, which is duly celebrated on November 30 with a special festival fair in the parish church. Pastor Konrad Hörmanseder will lead the fair at 6 p.m., while the choir presents a varied program under the experienced direction of Elfi Gauster. Modern sounds and traditional melodies are used. The "Missa Festiva" by Hubert Zaindl, a gospel song and pre -Christmas songs are on the program.
The musical accompaniment takes place by a committed ensemble that harmoniously accompanies the singing of the choir. Anne Eder is sitting on the organ and the e-piano, while violins are played by Katharina Knoll, Martina Wahlmüller, Monika Hammer and Evelyn. Anna Langer am Cello and Lukas Spindlberger at the flute round off the musical performance. After the festive part of the fair, long -time choir members are honored in the parish home, which shows the strong connection between the community.
a lively vocal group
The choir, which currently has 30 active singers, has been committed to the musical design of numerous church occasions since its foundation in February 1994. Every year there are about 15 high -strength on the program, which requires about 35 samples. The choral music support of the most important celebrations in the parish has been a constant for over three decades and contributes significantly to the musical culture of the community.
In addition, the choir is very popular outside of church events. Various concerts have been held in recent years, and there have been three CDs in a wide variety of music styles. The choir's four songs have also been booked for weddings, birthday parties and Advent events, which is an additional contribution to the cultural diversity in Perg.
activities by the end of the year
In order to end the anniversary year, further musical highlights are on the plan. The choir will design the Christmas mass on December 24th at 11 p.m. and the Christmas fair on December 25th at 9:30 a.m. The end of the year is the end of the year on December 31 at 4 p.m. The special occasions not only offer a festive framework, but also an opportunity for everyone who appreciates the music and cooperation to be part of this living tradition.
