140 years of Mauthausen library: Festival and children's program on October 19th

Mauthausen. The Mauthausen library has been an integral part of the community since September 27, 1884. This year she celebrates an impressive anniversary and is 140 years old! The library's volunteer team organized a big festival on Saturday, October 19, which begins at 2 p.m.

The jubilee program from this event is diverse. In the afternoon, visitors can expect readings with interesting books. Sandra Weinberger will read from her work "Lizzi Lieblich explodes", while Edith Helminger will inspire the listeners with stories from "Ibitz and his friends - the secret of the emerald forest". Another highlight is the reading of Claudia Rossbacher, who presents her current Styrian thriller "Steirerzorn" at 7 p.m. The crowning glory of the afternoon is the Mauthausner author Werner Wöckinger, who reads from his book "The coach: Double Pass with death" at 8 p.m.

experience for the whole family

The little guests are also taken care of - you can look forward to a bouncy castle, face painting, a wheel of fortune and cotton candy. There is also a children's book flea market where young people can find what they are looking for. Admission is free, and the physical well -being of the guests is also taken care of.
