Auxiliary campaign for Mason: Christ child brings light in LeOndings Christmas

This year the Christ child from Meinverzirk Linz-Land is all about the seven-year-old Mason Wirth from Leonding. Mason is a happy, bright boy, whose start to life was associated with numerous challenges. He was born by an emergency caesarean section and a month too early, which resulted in a hospital stay for half a year. Only when he celebrated his first birthday did his mother Daniela be diagnosed: infantile cerebral palsy. This disease significantly affects Mason's motor skills, and even if his mother is there for him around the clock, Mason needs support in all areas of life.

Mason has been attending school since the beginning of 2023 and also recorded the care facility in St. Isidor in autumn. There he initially had some difficulties to get used to it, but now he feels comfortable. "It's so nice to see how much he likes it there," says Mama Daniela. For Mason, the time at school and in the after -school care center not only means variety, but also the opportunity to interact with other children, which is very important for its emotional well -being.

growing requirements and necessary support

However, the challenges in everyday life should not be underestimated. Mason, who often depends on a wheelchair, urgently needs a walking trainer who could enable him more mobility and a piece of self -determination. However, the financial means for such a device are high, which is why the family is dependent on donations.

supporters can contact the association district Rundschau Christkind, which is currently collecting donations for Mason. In many Raiffeisen banks in Upper Austria, number certificates are available, and online transfers are also possible. For an uncomplicated donation, the full specification of the data is necessary in the intended use, including the “Linz-Land district”.

The gifts that Mason and his family benefit are not only valued during the Christmas season, but also offer valuable support in the everyday life of the little boy. Thanks to the commitment of the community and neighboring supporters, the hope of a better quality of life for Mason will reality.
