On Saturday, November 30, 2024, the community forecourt in Hinterstoder will be transformed into a lively stall market. From 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., visitors will be treated to handicrafts and culinary specialties. Coffee and homemade pastries are also offered in the cozy parish café, while there is a varied children's program for the little guests.
A highlight of the market is the special exhibition “Alpine Moments” by Michael Zacek. It features fascinating photographs and paintings and takes a look at the works of E.T. Compton. This exhibition can be viewed at the Alpineum and is sure to attract many art lovers.
Entertaining musical contributions
The atmosphere of the market is lightened with musical performances. The performances begin at 11 a.m. with D'Stodataler and continue into the evening. From 2 p.m. the Stodertal Saiten group will enrich the sound in the Alpineum, while the Stodertal Wind Quintet is expected from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. For fans of brass music, the State Music School will present several ensembles at 12.30 p.m., including the trumpet and flute ensemble as well as the clarinet and horn ensemble.
There are exciting offers available for the children to get them into the Christmas spirit. From 1 p.m., they can take part in making Christmas tree pendants out of beeswax, spin candles or even try spinning with a hand spindle. A pony ride will be offered at 3 p.m., followed by an alpaca hike at 4 p.m. The day is rounded off with a story time that will delight the little guests.
