Rossleithen/Windischgarsten. The recently published gourmet guide "Gault & Millau" evaluated over 1,600 gastronomic addresses in its 46th edition and brought many culinary talents into the spotlight. It is particularly gratifying that two companies from the Pyhrn Priel region were awarded. The "Q Restaurant" in Windischgarsten will receive the coveted Gault & Millau-Haube for the first time, while the Gasthaus Seebauer on Lake Gleinkersee is honored with the Future Award Upper Austria.

The "Q Restaurant" convinced with an impressive overall ranking of 12.5 points. The team, consisting of the gourmet duo Peter Angerer and chef Christoph Schmid, scores with a diverse and creative menu. The dishes range from refreshing ceviche to a spicy coconut soup to special delicacies such as Q-Kinbenfisch and a heavenly Callenbaut-chocolate mousse.
