Solemn reading: ten years of library Kirchdorf/Inn in retrospect
The parish and parish library Kirchdorf celebrated a remarkable anniversary: its tenth anniversary was duly appreciated with a festive event. On this special occasion, the library team invited to an entertaining reading, which was designed by the talented Eva Damyanovic. She read from her amusing book "My dentist says girl to me" and provided the best mood with humorous anecdotes and vocal performances.
The leaders of the library, Maria Weinberger and Christiane Nöbauer took the opportunity to look back on the past ten years. Since its foundation, the library has developed into a living center of the community, not only as a lending point for books, but also as a place for readings, cabarets and other cultural events. These include special readings for children from kindergarten and elementary school, literary breakfasts and book exhibitions. An interesting holiday program was also offered to bring the love of literature closer to young readers.
The committed team of the library
The committed team that has been carrying the library since its foundation is particularly worth mentioning. Overall, the team made up of eleven women, four of whom have been there since the opening. Maria Weinberger, Christiane Nöbauer, Irmgard Lahner and Klaudia Murauer have been making valuable contributions to the further development of the library since their work began. In his speech, Mayor Josef Schöppl praised the commitment and dedication of the women who were honored by a spacious vegetable basket by the community and parish. The joy of this was reflected in the faces of the librarians, who are obviously proud of their work.
In the past ten years, the parish and parish library Kirchdorf has steadily expanded its offer and has thus made an important cultural contribution to the community. The combination of literature, entertainment and community activities made the library an integral part of the life of many citizens, which was also shown in the high number of visitors during the anniversary celebration.
