Mostlandl Hausruck: A decade for regions, climate and community
In the picturesque house back district, a region that almost completely matches the political district of Grieskirchen, the regional association Mostlandl Hausruck can look back on a successful ten -year history. This association was created in 2014 from the merger of the Leader regions Hausruck Nord and Mostlandl Hausruck. Since then he has developed into an important player in regional development and today comprises 33 member communities.
The task of the Mostlandl Hausruck Association focuses on the promotion and development of projects in various areas such as climate and environmental protection, agriculture, biodiversity, culture as well as social and community added value. A central aspect of these projects is the active implementation of measures to support the climate and energy model region (KEM).
within ten years:
An outstanding result of these efforts are the 3.8 million euros that went into the region in the form of EU funding from 2014 to 2022. Chairman Martin Dammayr emphasizes: "We are proud of what we have achieved in the past ten years. Thanks to the energy of our member communities and the commitment of the volunteer board members, we were able to implement many local and national projects." The remarkable initiatives include the HAAGER Lies Radweg, the Auhäuslgut Therapy Center, the EEG-Spactura as well as numerous food co-ops and direct marketing projects that enrich the place of residence of people.
With a view of the future, Managing Director Christoph Mader describes the anniversary as a "incentive" in order to continue to actively shape the development of the region. The Mostlandl Hausruck team is ready to work for project development, funding counseling and the implementation of funding. "If someone has an idea that brings added value to our region, we are always happy to contact us," adds Mader. The association's office is located at Roßmarkt 25 in Grieskirchen, where interested parties are discussed on the subject of regional projects and funding opportunities.
The regional association not only stands for the successful review, but also for the active participation of future development in Mostlandl Hausruck. Projects such as the planned everyday cycle traffic network Innviertel Hausruck are already in progress and show how advanced the region is in its development.
