30 years of scope: a festival of culture in Gaspoltshofen

Gaspoltshofen. In a celebration full of memories and enthusiasm, the scope of Gaspoltshofen recently celebrated its 30th anniversary. This cultural institution has developed to an indispensable part of the community over the years by offering a wide range of events that appeal to young and old.

The beginnings of the scope go back to autumn 1994 when the first concert took place in the newly designed event hall. Originally known as a cinema Mader, the room was rebuilt for two years to be suitable for cultural events. Today between 70 and 90 events take place in the well -filled hall with around 120 seats. In the past three decades, around 2,300 events have accumulated, which underlines the importance of the scope as a cultural local supplier.

A diverse range of events

The diverse program, which ranges from theater performances, cabaret, concerts to readings and films, is managed by a dedicated team of around 25 employees. This group of volunteers is passionate about cultural work and ensures that the offer is constantly being expanded. At the anniversary celebration, the scope presented a look back at the remarkable theater productions of the "Junge Theater Gaspoltshofen" and brought a lively review with scene excerpts and music that arrived very well with the guests.

Another highlight of the ceremony was the opportunity for visitors to take a look behind the scenes. Many took the opportunity to explore the technical room, the backstage area and the warehouses of the scope, which clarified the connection to the event facility and its importance for the cultural life of the people in Gaspoltshofen.

chairman Lois Berger expressed his confidence that the large number of young employees would secure the future of the scope. "If you see the numerous young employees, there is justified hope that this key will continue in this key," said Berger. This can also be seen in the planning of the next major production that is due for the end of the year. The “Proleten Passion” by Heinz R. Unger will be performed with the band's music, the premiere will take place at the turn of the year, more precisely on New Year's Eve.
