22 Grieskirchner collect over 28,500 bicycle kilometers together

In Grieskirchen, hard -working cyclists have once again demonstrated their services. In the summer campaign "Upper Austria cycled", 22 participants covered 28,514.13 kilometers. This impressive number not only illustrates the commitment of citizens for the environment, but also the popularity of cycling in the region.

Participation in the campaign, which runs from mid -March to the end of September, enables the citizens to document the kilometers traveled back over an app or online. Grieskirchen, as the organizer of the campaign, has set a sign of promoting bicycle traffic with this initiative. On average, the participants drove around 147 kilometers a day, which underlines enthusiasm for cycling in the city.

This year the prices were awarded in a special way to motivate a larger number of participants. In addition to the prices awarded by the federal government and the country, two cyclists expired vouchers worth 100 euros each. "We want as many people as possible have the chance of a prize," said Lili Brauneis from city marketing.

The winners of this raffle are Stephanie Steinböck and Goran SpasenSoski. The prices were handed over to the city office, where the joy of the awards was great.
