On October 1st there was remarkable control by the police officers at the Wullowitz border crossing. The focus of the measure was on the check in the vehicle and their documents. Around 4:50 p.m., the police noticed a car with a French license plate, which attracted their attention.
When checking the vehicle, it turned out that the driver, a 66-year-old Bosnian, had no valid driving license. Instead, he tried to show himself with a fake driver's license. This is a serious offense, since the driver not only disregards the traffic rules, but also acts in a fraudulent way. The vehicle was also not properly approved, which the situation continued. After his arrest, the 66-year-old had to pay a fine of 350 euros, which was imposed by the Linz public prosecutor. In the police recess center, however, it turned out that the man is unable to detable. This means that it cannot be detained for medical reasons. After this statement, the Bosnian was released, but not without further financial obligations. In total, he had to pay security payments of 1,085 euros to regulate the administrative violations. This sum is made up of different costs that are related to the traffic violations.
The incident raises questions about security standards and compliance with rules in road traffic. Falsifications and unlawful stays are serious crimes that not only have legal consequences, but also endanger security on the streets.
